COVID-19

IF YOU DON'T WEAR A MASK YOU MAY BE WAITING A LONG TIME TO BE SEATED

Following the news that as from Monday 17th May 2021 the Government has announced the resumption of indoor hospitality - we want to let you know what that means at Two Kitchens.

The good news is that we've already been dealing with more or less identical restrictions since we were last allowed indoor hospitality and although we understand that they are likely to affect how you use the restaurant the past few months have taught us that the restaurant experience is largely unchanged bar a few masks, more space and a ton of hand sanitizer. Two Kitchens has remained a vibrant, enjoyable restaurant experience.

We will make sure all our customers are aware of the new rules - We are able to seat up to groups of 6 guests or 2 households. We will implement this for new reservations at the point of booking, confirmation and if necessary on arrival at the restaurant. We will do everything to remind people of their responsibilities and in cases where there is reasonable doubt please do not be offended if we ask.

Two Kitchens remains a safe place to spend time and enjoy a meal and that short of a national lockdown we all need somewhere we can enjoy a couple of hours away from the mad world outside.

We have done a great deal to become Covid-secure but the burden of overcoming this crisis fall to all of us - to Government, businesses and individuals.

We look forward to seeing you soon

Two Kitchens takes the health and wellbeing of its staff and customers extremely seriously which is why we have always worked hard to maintain a five star food hygiene rating.

Currently in line with Government advice of best practice we are doing the following to ensure our customers and staff remain as safe as possible:

  • Staff have been instructed to wear masks to and from work and whilst at work.
  • Staff wash their hands on entering work, and at regular intervals at least every 20 mins.
  • Staff must sign off sick if they experience any symptoms of fever, cough, flu or colds and are advised to self isolate for 14 days.
  • Staff have their temperature monitored twice a day and any staff with a fever will be sent home and told to self isolate.
  • Customers and staff should follow social distancing guidelines where possible.
  • All customers aged 16 or over will be required to check in with the NHS Covid App or give their contact details to the restaurant. Temperatures will be taken for dine-in along with anyone who is dining outdoors that requires the toilet facilities.
  • Customers must make sure all children remain seated at the table at all times.
  • Please ask your server for the key to the restroom which can be used by one person/family unit at a time and return key.
  • Single use menus are in use.
  • We are sanitizing door handles, tables, utensils and any touchable items like credit card machines, etc every hour
